We aim at establishing an alliance between Belgium -Spain and Cuba to improve living conditions of the people who live on the island. Thanks to donations from individuals, other NGOs, and companies we make constant shipments to Cuba. This humanitarian work helps to improve the quality of life of those who suffer the most. Cubans, always within the philosophy of collaboration and to help the human and integral formation of the person, helping them to grow in all dimensions. We are a group of volunteers who intend to contribute their grain of sand, their free time, their management skills and your money to improve situations of extreme poverty and need in which this population lives.
There is a team that coordinates the reception of materials, classifies them, evaluates their condition and organizes their shipment, with trips from known people or through containers. The materials are very diverse, from medicines, powdered milk, food, clothes, sheets, books, technological devices, diapers, liturgical materials, etc. In all cases it is ensured that they are received by their final recipient.
Collaboration with the Archdiocese of La Havana and Santiago de Cuba, as well as with different parishes and some priests who do a great social work around the island.
Shipments are being made to different religious congregations (Brigidine Mothers, Sisters of Charity, Servants of Mary, Carmelite Mothers, Dominican Mothers, etc.) with whom there have been previous contacts. Particularly noteworthy is the shipment of medicines and medical supplies, which are scarce on the island, to these congregations and to the San Lázaro Hospital.
We are working in collaboration with TANTAKA, from the University of Navarra, and different NGOs, such as the Navarra Organization for Help between Peoples (ONAY), and ACTUA, for the reception of materials; Aid to the Third World (with the shipment of medicines to Cuba) and the Fabre Foundation. We aim at joining forces and synergies to have a greater impact.
In addition, there is total transparency in all donations. Crowfunding is used to reach the established objectives. There are people who make material donations and others who collaborate with financial donations to cover some periodic purchases and shipping costs.
